I see women in clinic feeling a whole range of emotions - excited, happy, emotional, uncomfortable, and - of course - fearful, particularly if you have had previous fertility complications. Meanwhile, never has there been a time in a woman’s life when she is so subject to unsolicited advice - often very conflicting - which leaves you confused and perhaps a little overwhelmed about how best to care for yourself and baby.

I find what helps is having a single - and informed - source of truth for information on how to look after you +1 during pregnancy.

Getting your diet right is crucial during pregnancy. Nutrient needs increase significantly during pregnancy. We need abundant nutrients to support the healthy growth and development of baby - and good blood flow and placental health to deliver the nutrients. Optimising diet, lifestyle and supplementation can help you get there, whilst also reducing the likelihood of bothersome pregnancy symptoms and pregnancy complications.
